Commissions

Ever since getting accepted into VGen, I have had a constant flow of commissions. Which is great, and I have no reason to complain. But, honestly, it's been too much. Between work, school, and commission obligations, I have been so burnt out. I wish I could learn how to stop accepting commissions lol.

I think my main problem (other than just loving money) is my desire to get my name out there and see my artwork on bigger accounts. All I want is to share my art and gain a following of my own. It's a lot harder than it should be, so I just keep accepting jobs. I have been drawing for years, and my art Instagram has only 130 followers, and my Twitter only has 58. It's pretty fucking frustrating. People keep telling me that I need to post regularly, but I just don't have the time or energy to draw that much.

I've been working on a big project as of right now. I was commissioned to draw 4 full-body pieces for $140. I have gotten 3/4 complete, and I'm so tired. Even after I get done with these projects, I have 3 more commissions lined up. Another huge problem I have is that I keep getting commissioned to draw in a moe style. Which, again, is great. BUT, I want to draw in my own style. It's so redundant, and I'm sick of it.

I miss drawing for myself.

I really want to create my own VTuber model over the summer, but I don't know if this is feasible with how much I have going on.

I wish I could just lie down every day, or go shopping, or go out to eat, and not owe anyone anything lol.

Maybe one day, when I'm a billionaire.
